Hideo Kojima hizo su primer Metal Gear en 1987. Hay que recordar que él siempre ha comentado que parte de su inspiración surge viendo la película de Kurt Russell “The Escape from New York”, en la que interpretaba al Coronel Pliskin, y tenía que acudir a salvar al Presidente de los Estados Unidos. La apareciencia de Pliskin (que quieren que le llamen Snake) es exacta a la del personaje de nuestro juego, Metal Gear. Sin duda, es una pelicula “must seen” por parte de los seguidores de la saga.

Lugar y Fecha de Nacimiento: Top Secret

Snake es miembro de la unidad de élite FOX, una agencia de las fuerzas armadas especializada en Operaciones Secretas. Snake fue el último aprendiz del legendario héroe de Guerra, The Boss, que trabajó para la CIA, sirvió varios años como BoinaVerde y demostró enorme habilidad en misiones de combate urbano. Es, sin duda, un ejército en un sólo hombre. Su edad, nombre y lugar de nacimiento se desconocen. Su primer nombre parece ser Jack, pero podría no ser más que un apodo. Dada su vocación, tales detalles son inmateriales. Como diría el mismísimo Snake: “Un nombre no significa nadaen el campo de batalla. Después de una semana, nadie tiene nombre”.
